Overview

This documentation provides comprehensive guidelines on how to edit, update, or add new assets to the asset browser, ensuring seamless management and integration of resources within your project environment.

Adding New Assets

Adding new assets is quite simple, it's only a few steps and the click of a button to get up and running. Be aware this process also works for batch/bulk uploading of new assets as well.

  1. Create an asset.json file inside the root folder of each asset you want to add.
  2. Within Seeker navigate to the Admin Dashboard.
  3. Click the Sync button next to the Storage Point in which the asset is located, or Sync All button to ingest the updates made to all assets across all Storage Points, otherwise Seeker will automatically Sync every hour.
  4. That's it!

Updating Assets

At any point if you need to change the thumbnail, or the content files of an Asset, this can directly be done by editing the files on disk, or by using the edit asset feature from the asset details view or the asset browser view. After you have finished editing the asset you'll do the following.

  1. Within Seeker navigate to the Admin Dashboard.
  2. Click the Sync button next to the Storage Point in which the asset is located, or Sync All button to ingest the updates made to all assets across all Storage Points, otherwise Seeker will automatically Sync every hour.
